Adam King selected for 'Cross Worlds ...

Adam's hopes of a top 20 finish were dashed when another rider's foot went into his wheel and broke a spoke. Conditions were tricky on the frozen and snow-covered course but he finished a creditable 26th.

Congratulations go to Welsh Junior Cyclo-Cross Champion Adam King (Cardiff JIF) who is one of twelve riders selected by British Cycling to represent Great Britain at the forthcoming UCI Cyclo-Cross World Championships taking place on 2–3 February in Louisville, Kentucky. Adam follows in the footsteps of Welsh Juniors Sam Harrison in 2009 at Hoogerheide in the Netherlands and Andrew Williams in 2008 at Treviso in Italy. Best of luck Adam from all in Welsh Cyclo-Cross.

Adam was first British Junior in 27th place at the final UCI World Cup 'Cross of the season in Hoogerheide on 20th January.
